"After nearly 18 years in the industry of designing and redesigning showrooms, we've developed a blueprint for the perfect showroom that inspires the senses. My secret satisfaction? The often audible gasp that we hear when a client enters our showroom for the first time.

With a love of travel, I'm constantly on the road to find the best products and solutions for flooring; not to mention, inspiration. We pride ourselves on having the best and most diverse selection of product, from bold and modern to clean and classic. No two trips to KPM flooring are the same.

The dream of running this business is made all the more possible by building a team who shares in the vision. We help our clients invest their time and money wisely while also inspiring great design and excitement. At KPM we listen to what our clients want, ask the right questions, and guide our clients to make the best decisions. From there, our top-of-the-line installers work to ensure the highest quality installation standards.

KPM is a reflection of who we are: creative, colorful, dedicated, cutting-edge, problem-solver, loyal, family-oriented, community driven, and grateful to enjoy this ride alongside so many amazing people.

We look forward to getting to know you and helping you design the home of your dreams." - Kathleen

Originally from Lexington, KY, Lillie has been a "local islander" since 2012, after her family decided that two weeks on Hilton Head for summer vacation was simply not enough!

Lillie is passionate about local business and shopping small, as well as all things interiors. Her favorite part of working at KPM Flooring is the creative environment – she loves being able to help bring ideas to life and be in a supportive, family-oriented atmosphere.

Lillie’s greatest happiness in life is motherhood! She welcomed her first daughter in the fall of 2019 who has quickly become the cutest 'mascot' of the KPM team.

Weekends will find her and her daughter at the beach, traveling, or enjoying the local food scene (need a recommendation? Lillie is your girl!). She loves to explore new places and has spent time abroad traveling Europe, but her home will always be the Lowcountry.

Kathleen first met Susan in 1998 during Kathleen’s time at Louis Sterling, as she was the flooring supplier for a company where David Sewell worked at the time. Later, Kathleen called on Susan to monogram specialty items for her daughters. Many years later, Susan is thrilled to have joined the KPM team as an outside sales representative, always with her signature smile!

Michael and his wife, Tammy, moved to Hilton Head Island in 2014 from Ohio. Having spent many years as a as a line leader and forklift driver  for Sauder Woodworking, Michael and Tammy were looking for a fresh start in life and a wonderful place to retire. The Lowcountry was a perfect fit; and it didn't take long for Kathleen to talk Michael out of retirement and join KPM.

A lover of the beach and also a Steelers fan, Michael and Tammy enjoy finding new places to explore in the Lowcountry. Most recently they spent the day on Daufuskie Island and loved learning the expansive history of the area and visiting the historical sites.

Michael has two adult sons, one in the Marines and one in the Navy; both are married and have three amazing kids between them. One of Michael's greatest joys (other than coming to work, of course) is spending time with his family.

Originally from Murray, KY, Jon attended Murray State University. He worked 10 years in the golf industry (it’s not hard to get him to participate in local charity golf tournaments for KPM) and has worked 12 years in the flooring industry here on the island.

Jon moved to Hilton Head in 1995 and is married with two teenage daughters. He enjoys spending time with the kids and two dogs; play tennis; kayaking and other outdoor activities.

Kathleen first met Jon when he coached his oldest child and her oldest, Emma, in the 4 year old soccer league (who’s a senior in high school now!). He is still “coach Jon” to the Mayers family.

Jon is indeed the quintessential southern gentleman -  hard working and dedicated. We are so lucky to have Jon on Team KPM.
