First stop when we get in to the city? A fabulous place for dinner and cocktails. Our latest favorite? Dos Caminos close to Times Square. The guacamole was incredible, as was the toasted pineapple margarita!
Pro tip? We like to get in a day early to take in the sites and explore before jumping into the show. When it’s a beautiful day, we love stopping by the Hudson River area (we must have a thing for water being from Hilton Head….).
The Rug Show is held at the Javits Center – and it is MASSIVE! We definitely got in our steps walking between the vendor booths. It’s hard to see everything in one day, too, so we know how to map out the days at the show.
We love a stop to the Tamarian booth. These guys are always a lot of fun to see and catch up with – not to mention, their rugs are amazing, too!
When the show shuts down for the day, we love taking a long walk down the High Line (https://www.thehighline.org/). It’s easy to access from the Javits Center and we love the sites along the walk. We also love getting in lots more steps in before a great dinner…
Had to make a stop by the Biergarten!
Always love a trip to the city to talk shop with our favorite friends in the rug business and can’t wait for this year’s line up!
